The ART laboratory of the Polyclinique de l’Atlantique will not be able to carry out the sperm preparation if one of the aforementioned documents is missing in your file.

Please declare your attending physician to Social Security in order to be 100% covered without paying in advance pharmaceutical, biological, ultrasound expenses, etc.

Upon starting your ovarian stimulation treatment, please warn your gynaecologist at the PCA. If your follow-up is carried out by an external gynaecologist, you shall warn your referring gynaecologist at the PCA.

On the day of the IUI

Mister shall present himself from 7.30 to 9 am at the ART laboratory of the Polyclinique de l’Atlantique with:

  1.  his ID card,
  2.  his updated 100% coverage,
  3. the insemination prescription.

He shall sign the consent for the attempt and carries out the sperm collection.

Madam shall present herself at 11.30 am at the ART laboratory of the Polyclinique de l’Atlantique with her ID card. She shall sign the consent for the attempt, collect the spermatic preparation and go back to her gynaecologist’s office to carry out the insemination.

After an Intrauterine Insemination

PMAA blood test for hCG assay (pregnancy test) is systematically realised on the 14th day after the insemination has been carried out (on the following Monday if that day is a Sunday) or on the first day of potential bleedings. You then call your gynaecologist at the end of the day or on the following day in order to know the right conduct to adopt for the following cycles.

There is no special precaution to take after the Intrauterine Insemination has been realised and until the pregnancy test is carried out.

The best conduct to adopt is to live “normally”.

AID case

Upon starting your ovarian stimulation treatment, please warn your gynaecologist at the PCA. If your follow-up is carried out by an external gynaecologist, please warn your referring gynaecologist at the PCA.

The collection and transportation of straws to the laboratory shall remain under your responsiblity (you might borrow a container from the laboratory that you will previously book and for which you will pay a deposit). The straws must reach the laboratory the day before the insemination at the latest.
